Maenporth Beach Falmouth
This is an attractive East-facing beach of sand, set between small headlands, which give good shelter. The beach gently slopes and has shallow water which is great for children. Parking is right on the beach, £4.00per day.
- Disabled Access.
- Seasonal Dog Ban.
- Beach cafe and shop selling snacks, drinks, ice creams, buckets and spades etc.
- Quality restaurant opposite the beach with great views.
The coast path runs through here and walking towards Falmouth and Swanpool Beach you will come across the memorial to the Home Guard who patrolled the cliffs here during the war on the lookout for U-boats and enemy shipping.
