Image Gallery Chapel Porth – National Trust Beach and breathtaking views and walks
Chapel Porth Image Gallery
Chapel Porth on the north coast. Car park and Cafe operated by the National Trust in Cornwall. At low tide, you can walk along the beach and view the caves.
You MUST check tide times before wandering off down the beach. The tide comes in very quickly and it is very easy to get cut off. During the summer the Lifeguards on duty will be able to advise.
The coast path north towards St Agnes will take you to one of Cornwall’s most photographed engine houses at Wheal Coates. Head south along the coast path to Porthtowan. It is possible to walk along the beach to Porthtowan on a spring tide. However, to repeat only do this after checking Tide times and getting local advice.
