King Harry Ferry crossing at Trelissick Gardens. Crossing the river and saving a 26-mile journey by road the Ferry is used by locals as well as being a popular attraction for visitors. Just upstream from the Ferry you can see the ships that are laid up long term in the river fal’s deep water moorings.
The Independent newspaper included the ferry crossing as one of the “ten most scenic ferry trips in the world” in company with the Staten Island Ferry in New York and the Star Ferry in Hong Kong.
