A Slide show of images taken around Falmouth by a visitor who arrived in the Cruise liner Grand Princess following an Atlantic crossing. Pendennis Castle, the high street, Arweneck Street and several pubs are shown.
Falmouth Cornwall from a Cruise liner: Cruise liners call at Falmouth where a dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers “The Cruise Ambassadors” meet and greet the visitors. They answer to answer any questions that require local knowledge and help the visitors get the most from their brief stay. This initiative has proved a great success.
The visitors from the cruise ships are a welcome boost to Falmouth’s economy but also to a far wider area as many will go off on organised coach trips to attractions and historic sites throughout Cornwall.
