Lifeboat day on the Lizard
The Lizard Lifeboat Day and an SAR demonstration with the helicopter from RNAS Culdrose. Lifeboats days are held by all the Lifeboat stations in Cornwall.
The National Trust car park on the Lizard hosted a marquee and stalls selling local produce as well as a BBQ.
Polpeor Cafe on the Lizard
A contender for the title of the Cafe with the best view in Britain the cafe is situated on the cliff above the old Lizard Lifeboat Station.
Lizard point is the most southerly point in the UK from here you can watch the constant stream of ships making their passage up the English Channel.
Excellent walks along the coastal path, visit the Lizard Lighthouse with parking and loos available in the National Trust cark park
