In this video (Fowey Looe Kayak) the Kayakers leave Fowey and head along the coast past into Polperro harbour and then back out to sea. Past Looe Island (St Georges Island) and arrival at Looe. Great views of the coastline.
There are several firms that operate around the coast offering guided trips in Sea Kayaks who are licensed operators and provide all safety equipment and wet suits etc. Hiring a Kayak is great fun when you go with a group and a qualified instructor who knows the area and can point out the history and guide you caves, good places to go seal spotting and more.
You can explore rivers and creeks or sea caves and will often see seals and other seal life and explore part of the maritime environment that is simply not accessible by any other means. Amazon has a selection of Books and Guides for Looe and Fowey.
