Owned by the  National Trust the Beach is a sandy beach that joins up with Northcott on big spring low tides. Walk down a winding path to the beach from the car park. A popular but unspoilt beach of pebbles and sand backed by incredibly twisted cliffs.

There is an attractive walk that follows the South West Coast Path to Duckpool before returning along the same route. For more information on the South West Coast path see the link below.

  • National Trust owned car park, cafe and toilets on the entrance to the beach.
  • Dogs: Dog-friendly beach.
  • Lifeguard service: Lifeguards on this beach May 16th – September 20th 2009.
  • Beach ownership: National Trust.
