Porthgwarra Beach – A small secluded beach for explorers
Porthgwarra Beach
This beach is small, picturesque and secluded, just round the corner from Porthcurno. Minimal sand at low tide.
Once a fishing hamlet, with some boats still launching from here. Dog ban, Easter to October. Surf rescue equipment is present at the beach. The sand here is only at low tide. However, you are able to swim from the slipway. No lifeguard cover combined with strong currents further out it is advised to stay within the cove. Tunnels ad rockpools galore so great fun exploring.
