This video (Storm watching Sennen Cove) was taken from the Lookout above Sennen Cove. 10th Of March 2008, the high tide with Gales force westerly winds and forty-plus foot swell hits Sennen.
The image above shows the Sennen Cove lookout on a better day with Cape Cornwall in the background which gives perspective to the force of the storm seen in the video.
The old Lookout station is now owned and maintained by the National Trust in Cornwall. Used over the years as a lookout for everything from Pilchard Shoals to invading armies.
