RAF St Mawgan Air Day 1990

This is Clip 2 of 2.

Originally filmed in VHS on the 8th of August 1990. The two clips show the Harrier Jump jet, the Red Arrows, the RAF parachute display team, The “Crunchie Girl” wing walkers and many other aircraft and helicopters. The Air Day was once a very popular summer event in Newquay attracting large attendance.

RAF ST Mawgan Air Day

The airport is now operated as a civilian airport (Newquay Airport) managed by Cornwall County Council and is supports regular passenger flights from Gatwick and other destinations.
