Cape Cornwall is a small headland that lies four miles north of Land’s End and near the village St Just. It is the point where the Atlantic currents split, travelling south up the English Channel, or flowing north into the Bristol Channel and the Irish Sea. Almost entirely owned by the National Trust in Cornwall, there is a National Coastwatch lookout on the seaward side.
There is a car park (owned by the National Trust) and a public toilet. It is one of only two locations named as Capes in the whole of the UK the other being Cape Wrath in Scotland.
