Port Gaverne Beach – Sheltered beach perfect for Rock Pooling
Port Gaverne Beach
Port Gaverne is a sheltered, narrow cove with plenty of sand at low tide. Popular with families as it has plenty of rock pools. Parking in Port Isaac and walk across.
A National Trust owned beach that has remained almost unchanged in hundreds of years. It was once Once a thriving port landing slate and coal and a thriving fishing port for pilchards.
No lifeguards. Dogs allowed all year.
