Castle Beach Falmouth – Wonderful Rock Pools at Low water.
Castle Beach
Castle beach has a limited shingle beach at high tide but plenty of interesting rock pools to be found at low tide. Parking on the main road, with a sloping flat access path plus a few steps down to the beach.
Thebeach is very popular offshore with SUP boarders from the adjoining Gyllingvase beach as well for swimmers a regular band of whom meet in the mornings to swim.
Falmouth Castle can be seen from the beach and the promenade above the beach stretches all the way to Gyliingvase beach and is a very pleasant almost flat walk. Many of Falmouth’s largest Hotels can be seen along this stretch of Castle Beach road.
The entrance to Gyllyngdune Gardens can be found on this walk between the two beaches.
