Crantock Beach For Wildlife enthusiasts and Kayaking Adventures

Crantock

Gannel Estuary

Crantock Beach Newquay

The beach is on River Gannel Estuary. There are cliffs and rocks on both sides and it backs onto sand dunes. The most popular area of the beach is next to the river, where there is a National Trust car park.  Dogs are welcome at this and the nearby Holywell Bay beach.

The Gannel Estuary is a peaceful alternative to the popular beaches of Newquay. Its tidal waters meander through woodland and sand dunes making it a unique home for native wildlife.

Kayak tours along the estuary are a popular activity.
