J Class racing in Falmouth Bay

Falmouth Classics will now be host to some classic superyachts. This is a welcome return to Falmouth Bay.  It was in the nineteen twenties and thirties when the port last played host to the ‘Sport of Kings’.

Pendennis Shipyard, based in Falmouth docks sponsored a cup for the races, and co-host the event with the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association. Lovely film shot in the Carrick Roads and Falmouth harbour during Falmouth Classics.
