Paragliding Perranporth

Paragliding Perranporth, Perran Sands is a very popular site for papargliders. Perran Sands beach is nearly two miles long, faces west into the Atlantic and is a popular surfing beach.

Perranporth on the north coast of Cornwall is another popular holiday destination with a n attractive beach and facilities.

The village is named after the Porth Peran (Cornish for the Cove of Saint Piran). St Piran is the patron Saint of Cornwall. St Pirans Day is a holiday cenebrated in many parts of Cornwall. Saint Piran established an Oratory on Penhale Sands in the 7th Centry which was nor re-discovered until the 19th Century.
