Surfing Gwithian Beach
Surfing Gwithian Beach. Gwithian lies next to Godrevy and if you are not watching the surfers you can stroll along the headland to opposite the lighthouse on Godrevy Island and do some Cornwall seal watching.
Gwithian Beach is also a very popular windsurfing venue as like its adjoining beach at Godrevy it faces the full force of the Atlantic and the winds. At low tide it becomes one long stretch of golden sand. National Trust cafe and car parks at the Godrevy end. A walk along the coast path towards Godrevy and the lighthouse on Godrevy Island will often reward you with the sight of a seal.
