Helford River Area
Some general views of the Helford River area taken around Durgan. A deep sheltered valley with ancient oak Woodland, hidden creeks, centuries old villages, and gardens, such as Trebah and Glendurgan situated on the north shore of the river.
These gardens full of sub-tropical plants, tree ferns originally from New Zealand, rhododendrons and azaleas. Beautiful villages like Durgan, largely owned and preserved for the nation by the National Trust. Helford Passage, with the Ferryboat Inn.
