The Historic Lifeboat Rally is held in Fowey every year. Owners of former RNLI Lifeboats gather in Fowey. many of these boats have remarkable histories and seeing them in the sunshine on a summers day gives no indication of the dramatic and wild seas that these boats gave service without the aid and safety of today's modern vessels.
