Fowey is one of Cornwall's most attractive ports.
In the summer Fowey is bustling with visitors who can sit and watch the action in the harbour as the ferrys cris cross from nearby Polruan, large ships arrive to pass up river, tugs come and go from moorings, visiting yachts tie up on the moorings and the boat taxi constantly moves around the harbour dropping off and collecting passengers from visit boats.

Fowey is also host to the Daphne du Maurier Festival of Arts and Literature held every year in May.
