Fishing Boat Parade Falmouth Harbour
Fishing Boat Parade Falmouth: During Flushing Regatta week. The boats parade around Falmouth Harbour to St Mawes. Circling around Black Rock at the entrance Falmouth Harbour entrance then back to the Quay at Flushing.
All taken very seriously by the participant. Rivalry among the participating captains has been known on occasions to lead to water hoses being fired on other vessels. This leading to retaliation with much unofficial radio chatter and robust comment between vessels discussing the merits and appearance of the others boat.
All great fun with the boats decorated with flags and bunting, Pirate flags, Canadian maple leaf flags and Flags of Cornwall in black and gold.
