Cornwall has a tradition of festivals, including some that are reputed to be the oldest in the UK.  Our Listing of Cornwall Festival Videos only covers a small selection of the better known Festivals. As well as festivals Cornwall has a long established tradition of Village Fetes, Agricultural shows, Carnivals and sailing regattas that take place during the summer months.

Festivals range from Padstow Obby Oss festival with its probable Celtic origins celebrating the death of winter and beginning of spring to modern-day events like the Boardmaster surf and music Festivals held at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Newquay.

There are Food festivals like the Falmouth Oyster Festival, the Newquay Fishing Festival and the Truro Cornwall Food Festival. Traditional Festivals like the Golowan Festival in Penzance, the Furry Dance (Floral Dance) in Helston and Tom Bawcock’s Eve in Mousehole to name a few of the better-known celebrations.

There are music and Arts Festivals in Fowey and in Lostwithiel a Jazz Festival in Bude and much more. If you are visiting Cornwall check a local events calendar to see if a festival is on near your location.
