October in St Ives

St Ives is always a popular destination for visitors to Cornwall. The Tate Gallery and the famous Porthmeor studios overlook Porthmeor beach where this video starts.

Tate St Ives opened in Cornwall 1993. The site it coccupys has commanding views over Porthmeor Beach and close to the Portmeor Studios used by many of the artists whose works are exhibited.

The building and gallery was designed designed to display the exhibits and works of art in the surroundings and atmosphere in which they were conceived and created.
