The first important milestone has been achieved at the RNLI’s most southerly mainland lifeboat station.

On Wednesday 5 October BAM Nuttall Construction Company handed over the lifeboat station to the RNLI after completing the structure on time.

Work commenced in May 2010 and has taken 18 months, in all winds and weather, to complete.
