A former coaching inn, the Commercial has been run by the same family for over 100 years. It is well known locally for its excellent food and warm Cornish hospitality. There are 11 en-suite guest rooms that are very well appointed and have been given a 4 star rating by Visitbritain. The inn is also a member of the Walkers and Cyclists Welcome schemes and has storage facilities for bicycles and drying facilities where required. There is free wireless internet connection available throughout the business.
The menu is extensive and varied making use of the great local produce available. Roast Sunday lunches and fresh fish dishes are our specialities.
The Commercial is in the centre of St Just, the most westerly town in England. It makes an ideal base for people wishing to explore the coastal paths and fabulous beaches of the Land's End peninsula. The air and sea links to the Isles of Scilly are 5 minutes and 10 minutes away by car. The world famous Minack open air theatre is 15 minutes away and land's End only 10 minutes. Cape Cornwall, a wonderful place for viewing sunsets, is only a short walk form the inn. The Commercial offers something for everyone and hopes to extend the warmest of welcomes no matter how short your stay.
