Welcome to Toms Holidays situated at Riviere Towans, Hayle, overlooking St Ives Bay. Toms Holidays is the only place to go for your Cornish holiday. Whatever your self catering requirements Toms Holidays can accommodate you. We have self catering beach accommodation, holiday chalets and bungalows available to book from April to October and over the Christmas period. Hayle stands on the opposite side of St Ives Bay, famous for its three miles of golden sandy beaches. Our location is probably one of the best for all types of holidays in Cornwall, set amongst 40 acres of sea front dunes overlooking the golden sands and breaking surf at Riviere Towans. The resort has many large open spaces with ready access to the sand dunes and there are safe play areas for the young or young at heart to get involved in. The Cornish coastline stretches for over 300 miles with its picturesque coves, beautiful sandy beaches and outrageous surf, famous the world over. Many of the coastal paths are owned by the National Trust, which means their natural beauty is left unspoiled, just waiting for you to get your walking boots on and explore. No other county in Britain can rival Cornwall's beaches, famous for their beauty, variety, surf and sand. Beach towns such as Perranporth, Polzeath and Newquay are also famous for their surfing breaks. There are many tiny coves dotted around the coastline like Coverack and Porthcurno, home of the Minack Theatre. You will also be within a short drive of many exciting tourist attractions and interesting places to visit including The Eden project, Newquay Zoo, The Flambards Experience, Lands End and The National Seal Sanctuary. Self catering beach accommodation near St Ives & Hayle Cornwall This mild climate means the west coast is an exceptionally nice place to visit for spring and autumn holidays in Cornwall. The less than gentle side is all too obvious when considering the vast number of shipwrecks to be found on our coastline and in the shallow waters (and not so shallow waters) the usefulness of these wrecks lives on as they are a haven for divers, experienced and beginners alike - who have reclaimed many exhibits for the local galleries and museums. Old sailors and fishermen have many tales to tell in the smokier corners of just about any Cornish public house you go into... All of us at Toms Holidays self catering beach accommodation and holiday bungalows look forward to giving you a warm welcome to the Riviere Towans and a memorable Cornish holiday. And if you're thinking of visiting us from the USA, look no further for your English (or even better Cornish) vacation! |
